Our Global Project, ‘Shaping Global Governance, Climate and Nature’, is in full swing, just over one year on from its launch at the Global Foundation’s most important global meeting to date, the Rome Roundtable in June 2024.

Since then, we have gathered together some of the world’s most important talents from business, institutions, civil society and governments, all of whom are committed to ensuring a sustainable planet, through their individual and collective actions.

The Global Foundation Roundtable Series

On an ongoing basis, the Foundation brings together a diverse cross-section of some of the most influential people on the planet for roundtable meetings where participants agree to strive together for the global common good.

Over the past 25 years, the Foundation has convened roundtables in many major cities around the world, including Beijing, Washington, London, Paris, Rome, Kuala Lumpur, Rio de Janeiro, and Singapore, as well as in Australian capitals, regional centres, and online. All discussions are cumulative and focus on securing agreement and pathways to enduring solutions to pressing global challenges such as climate change, geopolitical fracturing, and economic inequality.

Current and Upcoming Programs

Hosted by Vale, the Foundation’s major global meeting for the year was held in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest in Carajás, Brazil, from 13-15 August 2025.

The Carajás Roundtable is the centrepiece of our Global Project, Shaping Global Governance, Climate and Nature,’ and builds on the momentum established at its launch in Rome 2024, where ‘business with purpose’ was recognised as a critical pillar in shaping and achieving global climate and nature goals.
